Alyona Gourieva

Alyona Gourieva was born in Novokuznetsk (Kemerovo Oblast).
Since 2005, she has been a soloist for the Mariinsky Academy of Young Opera Singers.

She has participated in workshops with Elena Obraztsova, Makvala Kasrashvili, Larisa Gergieva, Galina Gorchakova, and Grayr Khanedanian.

Repertoire at the Mariinsky Theatre includes:

Her repertoire includes roles such as Musetta (La bohème), Liza (The Queen of Spades), Tatyana (Eugene Onegin), Iolanta (Iolanta), Nastasia Filippovna (Mieczysław Weinberg’s The Idiot), Katherina (Vissarion Shebalin’s The Taming of the Shrew), and Mariana (Leonid Klinichev’s The Cossacks).
