Albina Sharafutdinova


Soprano

Albina Sharafutdinova was born in Leningrad. In 2014 she graduated from the Rimsky-Korsakov St Petersburg State Conservatory (class of Victoria Evtodieva).

From 2014 to 2018 Albina was a soloist with the State Philharmonic of St Petersburg for Children and Youth. In 2018 she trained at the Accademia Lirica Osimo (Italy), taking part in masterclasses held by Nicola Beller Carbone, Paul Curran, Raina Kabaivanska, Lella Cuberli, William Matteuzzi and Vincenzo De Vivo.

In 2019 the singer joined the Mariinsky Academy of Young Opera Singers and made her Mariinsky Theatre debut, performing the title role in Snow White.

Snow White (Kolmanovsky’s Snow White)
Loskutik (Rag Girl) (Loskutik and the Cloud)

Has sung in the Mariinsky Theatre’s premieres of Snow White (2019) and Loskutik and the Cloud (2020).

Her repertoire also includes: Adina (L’elisir d’amore), Marguerite (Gounod’s Faust), Gerda (The Story of Kai and Gerda), Sonya Gurvich (Molchanov’s The Dawns Here Are Quiet) and Iolanta in the eponymous opera.
