Elena Karpesh was born in Belarus. She graduated from Minsk’s Belarusian State Academy of Music (class of Lyubov Kasporskaya) in 2006 and completed her postgraduate studies there in 2008.
At the Opera Studio of the National Opera Theatre of the Republic of Belarus (Minsk) the artist performed the role of Tatiana in Eugene Onegin.
Since 2008 she has been a soloist with the Mariinsky Academy of Young Opera Singers. Made her Mariinsky Theatre debut in 2009, appearing as the Second Lady in Die Zauberflöte.
