Born in Leningrad. Graduated from the St Petersburg State Rimsky-Korsakov Conservatoire (class of I. Lebedev, S. Vakman, T. Fidler). Has been an assistant to T. Fidler. Leads an active creative life, participating in numerous festivals, concerts and master-classes.
Has worked at the Mariinsky Theatre since 1994. Is responsible for the musical preparation of the ballet Sylvia. Took part in a co-project of the Bolshoi and Mariinsky Theatres in Japan in 2007.
