Born in 1992 in St Petersburg he graduated from the Yerevan Komitas State Conservatory, specializing in opera and symphonic conducting.
Grigorian has performed at the Lithuanian National Opera and Ballet Theatre in Vilnius and conducted the Youth Symphony Orchestra of St. Petersburg and the State Chamber Orchestra of Armenia in Yerevan. Since July 2022 he has served as a conductor and assistant to the principal conductor at the A. Spendiaryan National Academic Theatre of Opera and Ballet in Yerevan.
Grigoryan made his debut at the Mariinsky Theatre in 2017 leading the performance of Prokofiev's symphonic fairy tale Peter and the Wolf. In 2023 he conducted Verdi's La Traviata on the Mariinsky stage.
