Graduated from the State School of Fine Arts in Łódź in 1969. Has designed the costumes for many films, such as Jerzy Hoffman´s The Deluge and With Fire and Sword and Juliusz Machulski´s The Squadron. Contributed to the costumes for the Hollywood production The Last Dragon.
At the Grand Theatre in Warsaw, she and Paweł Grabarczyk have designed the costumes for productions of The Haunted Manor (directed by Andrzej Żuławski) and Madama Butterfly and Otello (directed by Mariusz Treliński).
Has also designed the costumes for two opera productions by Mariusz Treliński – The Queen of Spades (Berlin´s Staatsoper Unter Den Linden and the Polish National Opera in Warsaw) and Andrea Chénier (Teatr Wielki in Poznań and the Washington Opera).
