Designer Tim Hatley regularly works with the London National Theatre. Theatre productions he has worked on there include Welcome to Thebes, The Black Album, Present Laughter, Rafta, Rafta, Henry V, Humble Boy, The Talking Cure, Vincent in Brixton, Stanley (recipient of an Olivier Award), Hamlet, Flight, Sleep with Me and The Dark Side of the Earth. Hatley has also worked with the Royal Shakespeare Company on productions of Richard III, Goodnight Children Everywhere and Talk of the City; he has designed West End productions including Betty Blue Eyes, Endgame, Vincent in Brixton, Private Lives, What the Night Is for, Another Country, Suddenly Last Summer, Moscow Stations, Mr Puntila and His Man Matti. He has also worked on Broadway productions of Shrek (recipient of a Tony award and Off West End Theatre Award), Spamalot (nominated for an Oliver Award and a Tony, recipient of an Off West End Theatre Award), The Crucible and Private Lives (recipient of an Olivier Award and a Tony award). Tim Hatley has also worked with the company Complicité on productions of The Three Lives of Lucie Cabrol, Out of a House and Caucasian Chalk Circle and has been Production Director of the films Stage Beauty (2004), Closer (2005) and Notes on a Scandal (2006).
