Xenia Pantina


Scenography

Born in Leningrad. In 2011 she graduated from the faculty of set design and theatre technology of the St Petersburg Academy of Theatre Art, specialising in the Technology of Artistic Production Design. The premiere of a production of Christmas Eve at the Concert Hall of the Mariinsky Theatre in 2008 was Xenia Pantina’s first major work as a set designer. Together with production designer Varvara Yevchuk she was responsible for the technical planning of sets for such productions as New York. Salto (2009), The Slave Women (2010) and Buratino (2010).
In 2005 Xenia Pantina trained as a make-up artist at the Lenfilm studios (KADR film school), and from 2004 to the present she has collaborated with various film studios including Rinko Media, Reproduction Films, Globus, Panorama and Lenfilm. As a make-up artist she has worked on several productions by the GATI Student Theatre.
Since 2012 Xenia has worked at the Russian State Academic Pushkin Drama Theatre (make-up department).
