Yevgeny Mironov is a leading Russian theatre and film actor. After graduating from the Moscow Art Theatre School-Studio (where he studied under Oleg Tabakov), Mironov joined the Oleg Tabakov Theatre, where he became a leading actor. He went on to play in productions of the Moscow Art Theatre and to take part in international theatrical projects of Peter Stein, Declan Donnellan, Thomas Ostermeier, Alvis Hermanis, Robert Lepage, Eimuntas Nekrošius, and Robert Wilson. At Moscow's State Theatre of Nations, Mironov plays leading roles in such productions as Shukshin's Stories, Hamlet | Collage, Pushkin’s Tales, and Ivanov.

Mironov has appeared in more than 40 films and television productions, including Love, Muslim, Burnt by the Sun, August of 44, The Hunt for Piranha, Dreaming of Space, The Age of Pioneers, Idiot, The First Circle, Apostle, Dostoevsky, and Demon of the Revolution.

Multiple times winner of Russia’s State Prize, the National Golden Mask Award, and the Crystal Turandot Award. Winner of the International Stanislavsky Award, the Nika National Film Award, the Kinotaur National Film Festival, the Idol Award, the Constellation Award, the Triumph Award, the Golden Eagle National Film Award, and Cavalier of the Order "For Merit to the Fatherland" IV Class. Winner of the Grand Prix at the Geneva International Film Festival. Co-founder and Artistic Director of the International Festival School of Modern Art Territory. Co-founder of the Artist Support Foundation, member of the Presidential Council for Culture and Art, and Artistic Director of the Third Rome film studio.
