Born in 1995, Charles Reydellet studied successively at the Conservatoire de Lyon (class of Joël Nicod), the Staatliche Hochschule für Musik Trossingen (Germany; class of Szabolcs Zempléni), the Kunstuniversität Graz (Austria; class of Hector McDonald), the Universität der Künste Berlin (class of Christian Dallmann) and the Haute école de musique de Genève (class of Bertrand Chatenet).
In 2013 he won 1st prize at the International Music Competition for Young Performers Città di Chieri (Italy), and in 2021 he was a finalist at the International Competition Città di Porcia (Italy). In 2023 Charles Reydellet received 4th prize at the XVII International Tchaikovsky Competition (Moscow – St Petersburg).
He regularly plays as a guest musician with the Münchener Kammerorchester, the Orchestre de la Suisse Romande, the Kammerorchester der Komischen Oper Berlin and at the Opéra Nice Côte d’Azur, while performing chamber music (Donaueschingen Festival of contemporary music in Germany).
Since 2018 he has been Horn Professor at the Conservatoire de Nice – Université Nice Côte d’Azur.
