
Timofei Vladimirov was born in Ufa in 2001. In 2018 he graduated from the Central School of Music of the Tchaikovsky Moscow State Conservatory (class of Mira Marchenko), and in 2023 – from the conservatory itself (class of Professor Andrei Pisarev). Currently he is its assistant trainee, studying composition there (class of Alexander Koblyakov) at the same time.
Prize-winner at the Vladimir Krainev Moscow International Piano Competition (2017; Grand Prix and Prize of the National Philharmonic Orchestra of Russia), the International Competition for Young Pianists Astana Piano Passion (2017; 3rd prize), the International Piano Competition Russian Season in Yekaterinburg (2018; 1st prize), the Piano Campus competition (Pontoise, France, 2020; 1st prize and seven special prizes), the International Competition of the memory of Vera Lotar-Shevchenko (Yekaterinburg, 2025; 2nd prize). He was also awarded 1st prize in the category “Composition” at the Yuri Kholopov All-Russian Competition in the Theory and History of Music and Composition (Moscow, 2018) and has won several other composition contests.
Has appeared with the National Philharmonic Orchestra of Russia, the State Academic Symphony Orchestra of Russia (Svetlanov Symphony Orchestra), the Mariinsky Orchestra, the State Chamber Orchestra Moscow Virtuosi, the Moscow Philharmonic Orchestra, the State Symphony Orchestra Novaya Rossiya, the Russian National Youth Symphony Orchestra, the Novosibirsk Philharmonic Orchestra, the Ural Philharmonic Orchestra and the Safonov Academic Symphony Orchestra of the North-Caucasian State Philharmonic named after V.I. Safonov among other ensembles. Has performed under the batons of Vladimir Spivakov, Ken-David Masur, Alexander Rudin, Alexander Chernushenko, Alexei Vasiliev, Christian Knapp, Zaurbek Gugkaev, Valentin Uryupin and Dimitris Botinis to name but a few. Has made appearances at the halls of the Moscow Conservatory, the Moscow International Performing Arts Centre, Moscow’s Tchaikovsky and Rachmaninoff concert halls, the Moscow Concert Hall Zaryadye, the Mariinsky Theatre and the St Petersburg Philharmonia among other venues. Has toured to numerous towns and cities in Russia as well as internationally (Germany, France, Italy, Finland, Lithuania, Estonia, Azerbaijan and Morocco).
Since 2023 he has been a participant in programmes of the St Petersburg Music House.
