Graduated from the French department of the faculty of languages of the Leningrad State University. Has worked at the Institut Français in St Petersburg and for many years taught at the Alliance Française, also in St Petersburg.
Has worked at the Mariinsky Theatre since 1999. As a French language coach she has participated in the preparation of productions including Benvenuto Cellini, Les Contes d'Hoffmann, Samson et Dalila, Carmen, Les Troyens, Don Quichotte, Pelléas et Mélisande, Faust and Lakmé. Has rehearsed concert performances of the operas Les Pêcheurs de perles, La Fille du régiment, La Cenerentola, Werther and Cleopatra and Berlioz’ cantatas La Damnation de Faust, Roméo et Juliette and La Mort de Cléopâtre. The opera Les Troyens has been performed in New York (Carnegie Hall), Rotterdam and Vienna. The opera Benvenuto Cellini was performed in June 2013 in Paris marking the centenary year of the Théâtre des Champs Élysées. A performance of the légende dramatique La Damnation de Faust and the symphonie dramatique Roméo et Juliette received great acclaim at the Berlioz Festival in La Côte-Saint-André (France, 2019 and 2021). A recording of Massenet’s opera Don Quichotte featuring Ferruccio Furlanetto in the title role, released on the Mariinsky label, was awarded lofty critical praise in addition to several prestigious awards.
