Mariinsky Theatre Guest Soloist
• Recipient of the special Dmitri Hvorostovsky Memorial Prize at the XVI International Tchaikovsky Competition (Moscow – St Petersburg, 2019)
• Prize-winner at the 44th All-Russian Review Competition of Graduate Vocalists of Higher Institutes of Music (St Petersburg, 2016)
• Prize-winner at the 12th Youth Delphic Games of Russia (Novosibirsk, 2013; Silver Medal)
• Prize-winner at the 18th Lydia Abramova Bella voce International Student Vocalists’ Competition (Moscow, 2012; 1st prize)
• Prize-winner at the 11th Youth Delphic Games of Russia (Moscow, 2012; Gold Medal)
Vladislav Kupriyanov was born in Perm Krai (Perm Region) in 1993. In 2016 he graduated from the Perm State Institute of Culture.
During 2014–2017 Kupriyanov was a soloist with the Samara Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre. He has interned at the Crescendo Summer Institute in Hungary. Has toured throughout Russia and to the USA, Germany, Hungary and China. He has also taken part in the Kammeroper Schloss Rheinsberg festival (Germany).
Kupriyanov was a fellow of the Atkins Young Artists Program at the Mariinsky Theatre (2017–2021). In the summer of 2018 he made his debut at the theatre as Grigory Gryaznoy in The Tsar’s Bride.

The singer’s repertoire also includes the roles of Sonora (La fanciulla del West), Prince Yeletsky and Count Tomsky (The Queen of Spades), Andrei Shchelkalov (Boris Godunov), Sharpless (Madama Butterfly), Escamillo (Carmen) among others. In 2022 Vladislav Kupriyanov made his Bolshoi Theatre of Russia debut, performing the part of Dr Falke in a theatrical concert version of Die Fledermaus, and in 2023 he portrayed Robert (Iolanta) at that venue.
Recipient of the Russian Presidential Prize (2010–2013) and the prize Young Talents of Russia (2012, 2015).
