Mariinsky Theatre Guest Soloist
• Prize-winner at the XV International Tchaikovsky Competition (Moscow – St Petersburg, 2015; 4th prize)
• Prize-winner at the 2nd Natalia Shpiller Open All-Russian Vocalists’ Competition Masterpieces of Russian Music (Moscow, 2015; 1st prize)

Dmitry Grigoriev was born in the city of Gorky (now Nizhny Novgorod) in 1987. Since 2013 he has been a trainee in the Russkaya Opera, taking singing lessons with Sergey Moskalkov. Has participated in masterclasses of Alexander Vedernikov. A short while he has studied at the Gnesin Russian Academy of Music in Moscow (class of Andrei Grigoriev).
From 2016 to 2019 Dmitry was a Fellow at the Atkins Young Artists Program in the Mariinsky Theatre. In February 2017 he made his Mariinsky Theatre debut, appearing in Don Carlo.

Has sung in the premiere performance of a new Mariinsky Theatre production of Falstaff (2018).
His repertoire also includes: Figaro (Le nozze di Figaro), Sarastro (Die Zauberflöte), Prince Gremin (Eugene Onegin), King René (Iolanta), Old Gypsy (Aleko).
In December 2015 Dmitry sang the bass role in the Oratorio Pathétique by Sviridov with the Symphony Orchestra and Choir of the Bolshoi Theatre of Russia (conducted by Alexander Vedernikov). In the spring of 2016 he joined Valery Gergiev and the Mariinsky Orchestra on their North and South American tour, performing a series of solo chamber recitals in Mexico and Chile (collaborating with American pianist Myra Huang). In 2017 Dmitry Grigoriev appeared as Dr Bartolo in Le nozze di Figaro at the 2nd International Mariinsky Far East Festival in Vladivostok.
Sang at the Moscow Philharmonic Society and the Kolobov Novaya Opera Theatre of Moscow. In 2020 he performed the role of the Second Knight of the Grail in Parsifal at the Teatro Massimo di Palermo.
