Marina Mareskina was born in Ulan-Ude. In 1996 she graduated from the Rimsky-Korsakov St Petersburg State Conservatory (class of Viktor Yushmanov). The same year she made her debut at the Mariinsky Theatre as the Little Robber Girl in Banevich’s opera The Story of Kai and Gerda. In 2021 Marina Mareskina joined the Mariinsky Opera Company.
