Valeria Lebedeva

Valeria Lebedeva was born in Novosibirsk in 1999. Graduated from the Department of Additional Education for Children at the Novosibirsk Music College named after Askold Murov (class of Elena Isayeva), and in 2023 – with distinction – from the Rimsky-Korsakov St Petersburg State Conservatory (class of Vladimir Vaneyev). Also studied at the Elena Obraztsova International Academy of Music (St Petersburg, 2018–2019).

While a student at the conservatory, she performed the roles of Musetta (La bohème) and Zemfira (Aleko), the title parts in Iolanta and Suor Angelica. Has refined her skills at masterclasses with Daniela Schillaci, Olga Makarina, Inva Mula and Ildar Abdrazakov.

In 2019 she sang at the Ildar Abdrazakov International Music Festival (Ufa). Also took part in the international creative project Baltic Music Academy, touring with Iolanta to the Baltic region.

During 2022–2023 Valeria Lebedeva was a trainee at the Mariinsky Theatre, where she made her debut in January 2023, appearing as Mimì (La bohème). Since January 2024 she has been a soloist with the Mariinsky Opera Company.
