Born in the Republic of Komi. In 2001 he graduated from the St Petersburg State Rimsky-Korsakov Conservatoire (class of M. Yegorov, Honoured Artist of Russia). Soloist with the Mikhailovsky Theatre.
Guest soloist with the Mariinsky Theatre since 2008.
He joined the Mariinsky Opera Company in 2012.
