Antonina Vesenina was born in Voronezh. Graduated from the Voronezh State Academy of Arts where she studied with Natalia Savitskaya. Has taken part in masterclasses given by Elena Obraztsova, Larisa Gergieva, Grayr Khanedanian and Gegham Grigorian.
Worked as a soloist with the St Petersburg Chamber Opera where she performed the roles of Gilda in Rigoletto, Sister Genovieffa in Suor Angelica and Lucia in The Rape of Lucretia.
From 2011 to 2022 Antonina Vesenina was a soloist with the Mariinsky Academy of Young Opera Singers. She made her Mariinsky Theatre debut in 2014, appearing as the Queen of the Night. Since 2022 the artist has been a soloist with the Mariinsky Opera Company.

Together with other soloists of the Mariinsky Academy of Young Opera Singers she has toured to Great Britain, Italy, Austria, France and Spain. In 2019 the artist has taken part in the world premiere of David Krivitsky’s opera Doctor Zhivago, which took place at the Mariinsky Theatre.
Antonina Vesenina has performed at the Bolshoi Theatre of Russia (in 2018 she portrayed Rosina in the premiere of a new production of Rossini’s Il barbiere di Siviglia), the Staatsoper Hamburg, the Semperoper Dresden, the Komische Oper Berlin and the Deutsche Oper am Rhein (Düsseldorf; in 2016 she appeared as the Queen of Shemakha in the premiere of a new production of The Golden Cockerel).
