Daryana Bobarykina was born in 1997 in Pechora, Komi Republic. In 2016 she graduated from the Komi Republic College of the Arts in Syktyvkar (class of Nina Isupova), and in 2022 – from the Rimsky-Korsakov St Petersburg State Conservatory (class of Vladimir Vaneyev). In 2024 the singer completed her assistant traineeship there under the same mentor. She also refined her artistry at the Elena Obraztsova International Academy of Music in St Petersburg.
While studying at the college, Daryana Bobarykina performed at the State Opera and Ballet Theatre of the Komi Republic in Syktyvkar, and took part in Great Britain tour productions, appearing as Annina (La traviata) and Kate Pinkerton (Madama Butterfly). In 2019 she portrayed Micaëla in Carmen on that same stage. At the Opera Theatre of the St Petersburg Conservatory the artist performed in productions at St Petersburg venues such as Music Hall and Zazerkalye, singing title roles in Iolanta and Suor Angelica, as well as Tatiana (Eugene Onegin) and Mimì (La bohème). In May 2022 she portrayed Liza in The Queen of Spades, directed by Alexey Stepanyuk at the Music Hall.
From 2022 to 2024 Daryana Bobarykina was a trainee at the Mariinsky Theatre, where she made her debut in 2022, appearing as Laura in a semi-staged performance of Iolanta at the Republic of North Ossetia–Alania Branch. In 2023 the artist debuted at St Petersburg’s Mariinsky Theatre, singing the role of Musetta in a semi-staged version of La bohème. Member of the Mariinsky Opera Company since 2024.
