Artemy Izmailov was born in 1994 in Kiev. In 2013 he graduated from the Special Music School of the St. Petersburg Conservatory, where he studied with Marina Smirnova, and in 2019 from the Conservatory (class of Anna Makarova), where he continues his postgraduate studies. He participates in the projects run by St. Petersburg House of Music, performs as solo and chamber musician in Moscow, St. Petersburg and abroad. Prize-winner at the international competitions in Moscow (2003), Caernarfon (Wales, 2006), Szeged (Hungary, 2010). In 2016 he was awarded first prize at the All-Russian Music Competition in Moscow. He has been member of the Mariinsky Orchestra since 2013.
