Maria Goriachiova was born in St Petersburg. She graduated from the St Petersburg Mravinsky Children's School of Arts and the St Petersburg Rimsky-Korsakov College of Music (class of Anatoly Katkov). She has studied at the St Petersburg State Rimsky-Korsakov Conservatoire (class of Boris Vinogradov) and the Maimonides State Classical Academy (class of Alexander Gorbunov) since 2017. Prize-winner of the International Competition Art of the 21st Century in Vorzel (Ukraine). Goriachiova has been leader of the trombone section of the Admiralty Orchestra of the Leningrad Naval Base since 2015.
