Yelizaveta Berezhnova was born in 1988. She began to study music at the age of six. In 2003 she entered the lyceum school of the Novosibirsk Conservatoire.
Has taken part in numerous international competitions and festivals. On several occasions she has appeared as a soloist accompanying an orchestra, performing works for viola and viola d’amore. In 2005 she was a prize-winner at the Blue Bird international competition in Simferopol (viola d’amore; 1st prize and Grand Prix), as well as participating in Vladimir Spivakov’s festival Moscow Greets Her Friends.

In 2012 she graduated from the St Petersburg Conservatory and in 2015 completed her postgraduate studies with Prof. Vladimir Stopichev.
Performs recitals and appears with chamber Ensembles.
