Graduated from the St Petersurg Rimsky-Korsakov School of Music (class of A. K. Pavlovich) and the St Petersburg Conservatoire, where she also undertook a postgraduate traineeship (class of Professor Andrei Dogadin). After graduating from the conservatoire she worked in the orchestra of the St Petersburg State Cappella (principal viola). Has appeared at music festivals in Russia and internationally. Since 2002 she has been assistant principal viola with the Mariinsky Orchestra, and also appears in recitals and ensemble programmes at the Concert Hall and chamber venues.
