Ulyana Golikova graduated from the St Petersburg State Rimsky-Korsakov Conservatoire (class of Alla Aranovskaya) and completed a postgraduate study at the Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatoire, specialising in “Concert Performance” (Class of Sergei Kravchenko). She became one of the founders of the Tolyatti Institute of Art and led the faculty of string instruments there. She has worked as a guest assistant to Moscow Conservatoire Professor Sergei Kravchenko at the Ino Mirkovic Academy of Music (Croatia); she has been invited to the University of Afyon (Turkey) as a concert-mistress and teacher with the faculty of music’s chamber orchestra.
From 2004–2012 she worked at the Damascus Higher Institute of Music (Syria), was a concert-mistress with the Syrian National Symphony Orchestra and founded the Wishah chamber music ensemble. In 2007 she received a special award for her “Contribution to the development of culture and art of the Syrian Arab Republic”. Since November 2012 she has been a concert-mistress with the Symphony Orchestra of the State Philharmonic Orchestra of Yakutia Simphonica ARTica. Member of the ensembles Arco Artico and Camerata Yakutsk.
