Born in Leningrad.
After graduating from the Vaganova Academy of Russian Ballet in 1993 (class of Tatiana Udalenkova) she joined the Mariinsky Ballet. She was the first performer of the lead role in Oleg Vinogradov’s ballet Resurrection. Has performed character repertoire and roles in the ballets La Sylphide (Madge), Giselle (Bathilde), La Bayadère (Ayah, Hindu Dance), The Sleeping Beauty (the Queen), Swan Lake (the Princess Regent, Hungarian Dance, Spanish Dance), Raymonda (Countess Sybille, Panaderos, Mazurka), Le Corsaire (Forban, Palestinian Dance, Algerian Dance), Don Quixote (Mercedes, Gypsy Dance, Fandango), Schéhérazade (Zobeide, Odalisques), Pétrouchka (Nurse), Les Noces (the Groom’s Mother), The Nutcracker (Spanish Dance, Oriental Dance, Frau Stahlbaum – choreography by Vasily Vainonen), The Fountain of Bakhchisarai (Cracovienne, Ghirei’s Second Wife, Captive), Romeo and Juliet (Lady Capulet – choreography by Leonid Lavrovsky), Apollo (Leto); and dances in the operas Ruslan and Lyudmila (Lezginka) and Prince Igor (Captive); choreography by Michel Fokine.
In 2004 she graduated from the teaching faculty of the Vaganova Academy of Russian Ballet Since 2013 she has been a coach at the Mariinsky Theatre working with character dance soloists.
