Born in Perm.
After graduating from the Perm School of Dance he joined the Mariinsky Ballet (1995). He appeared in the ballets La Sylphide (James), Giselle (Armour-Bearer), Swan Lake (Neapolitan Dance), The Sleeping Beauty (Prince Fortuné), Raymonda (Béranger, Bernard), Pétrouchka (Pétrouchka), Romeo and Juliet (Mercutio, Benvolio, Paris), Manon (Lescaut); George Balanchine’s ballets Prodigal Son (Friend of the Prodigal), Symphony in C (I. Allegro vivo), Theme and Variations, The Four Temperaments (Sanguine), Jewels (Rubies), La Valse; Roland Petit’s Le Jeune Homme et la mort and Carmen (Toreador); The Nutcracker (Nutcracker Prince; choreography by Kirill Simonov); John Neumeier’s Spring and Fall; Alexei Ratmansky’s Le Poème de l’extase and Cinderella (Dance Teacher, Male Dance); William Forsythe’s Steptext and In the Middle, Somewhat Elevated.

Coach with the Mariinsky Ballet since 2009; rehearses roles with Maxim Zyuzin, Alexander Sergeev, Alexei Timofeyev, Konstantin Zverev and works with various soloists on contemporary productions.
