Born in Leningrad.
Having graduated from the Leningrad Vaganova School of Dance in 1983 (class of Vera Stankevich, she joined the Leningrad Kirov Theatre of Opera and Ballet (renamed the Mariinsky Theatre in 1992) where she performed roles in the ballets La Sylphide (Nancy, Effie) and Swan Lake (Neapolitan Dance) among others.
Since 2012 she has been a teacher and coach with the Mariinsky Ballet, working with the corps de ballet.
