Born in Kiev. In 2000 he graduated from the Kiev State School of Choreography. In 2000 – 2002 he was a soloist with National Ballet of Ukraine where he performed a variety of roles in the ballets including La Sylphide (James), Giselle (Albrecht), the Grand pas from Paquita, The Sleeping Beauty (Désiré, Bluebird), Swan Lake (Siegfried), The Nutcracker (the Prince), Don Quixote (Basilio), Pétrouchka (Pétrouchka) and Carmen Suite (Escamillo).

In 2002 – 2010 he was a principal dancer with the Mariinsky Ballet Company featuring the ballets La Sylphide (James), Giselle (Albrecht), Le Corsaire (Ali, Lankedem), La Bayadère (Solor), The Sleeping Beauty (Prince Désiré), Swan Lake (Prince Siegfried), Don Quixote (Basilio), Romeo and Juliet (Romeo, Mercutio), Symphony in C (3rd Movement), Theme and Variations, The Four Temperaments, Tchaikovsky Pas de Deux, Jewels (Rubies) and Tarantella, Études (Soloist), The Nutcracker (Prince) – production by Mihail Chemiakin, The Vertiginous Thrill of Exactitude, The Little Humpbacked Horse (Ivan the Fool), Flight of Angels (Soloist). First performer of the role of Matteo (Ondine, choreography and staging by Pierre Lacotte, 2006).

In 2006 he made his debut at the Teatro alla Scala in Milan in Pierre Lacotte’s version of the ballet La Sylphide (as James).

From 2011 to 2021 he was principal dancer with Mikhailovsky Ballet, where he appeared in ballets by Nacho Duato Without Words, Invisible, Prelude, Multiplicity. Forms of Silence and Emptiness, White Darkness, productions of La fille mal gardée (Colas), Cipollino (Cipollino), La Halte de Cavalerie (Pierre), Class Concert, and Flames of Paris (Philippe, Antoine Mistral).

From 2021 to 2023 he headed the ballet company of the Novosibirsk Opera and Ballet Theatre.
Since 2023 he has been a tutor at the Leonid Yacobson Ballet Theatre.
Since 2024 he has been a coach and a teacher with the Mariinsky Ballet. He rehearses roles with Anton Osetrov, Radomir Manokhin.
