Alla Chepinoga graduated from the faculty of musical theatre of the Russian Institute of Theatre Art (GITIS). Kandidat of art history. Since 2008 she has been a stage director at the Moscow Kolobov New Opera Theatre, and since 2011- 2017 she was a director of the GITIS Training Stage.
Has staged numerous operas, ballets and dramas at theatres in Russia. These include Letter from an Unknown Woman, Erwartung, The Love Letters, Capriccio, L'Histoire du soldat, Skeletons in the Closet, Tales of the Old Grandmother and Le Carnaval des animaux (the Moscow Kolobov New Opera Theatre), Le nozze di Figaro, Il barbiere di Siviglia, I pagliacci, Così fan tutte, Così fan tutte (the North Caucasus State Safonov Philharmonic), The Garnet Bracelet, The Grooms (the authorial theatre At the Bridge in Perm) and An Ordinary Miracle (the State Russian Drama Theatre of Udmurtia in Izhevsk).
At the Mariinsky Theatre she has staged the children's operas The Wooden House by Leonid Klinichev, L'Histoire de Babar, le petit éléphant by Francis Poulenc, The Turnip by Rustam Sagdiev and The Silly Little Mouse by Dmitry Shostakovich
